A little love...

A little decopatch canvas painted and then layered with card, stamped voile fabric (script print), a punched red paper heart and then a red foil covered chocolate heart for the one I love with the words of "How do I love thee" by Elizabeth Barratt Browning all round it!

And because I thought that might just be a bit too flowery I made a much smaller one completely dedicated to the ardent chess champion that he is!

Meanwhile others got one of these with little chocolate hearts and for everyone there was a big heart chocolate cake with little choc heart cakes all round it which went so rapidly I don't have a photo of it!!

Isn't love grand?! Your beautiful card arrived today and I have to say, ecstatically, Thank You! Since you don't know me, you wouldn't know that I have been struggling these last few weeks with my creativity and inspiration. Enough that I am questioning what I'm doing, why I'm doing it, how I don't feel "successfull" blah blah blah. So when I opened your card that said, "Just be", I felt a great sense of comfort. Thank you so much. Your card truly made a difference to me.

I was doing some blog browsing this morning, and wandered here from a link. What lovely cards! And I love your idea for posting thoughts each Friday; very inspiring!
