What's been going on?!!!

Well, it's been busy here with work and one thing and another and the blog has taken a bit of a back seat but no matter, there are things to update and things to share and this will happen in time.....
These pictures were taken from the last Bank Holiday weekend when we went away to our friends on the Gower peninsular.  Such a lovely spot and we had good weather.  We walked around the coast and chatted and enjoyed one another's company.  It was sooooooo good to be by the sea and the fresh air.  I even finished one side of a crochet cushion cover but more of that another time.
This weekend we are staying home and I hope to get to grips with the garden which is looking a little out of control.  And maybe do some handquilting on the disappearing nine-patch quilt which I am making for my mother-in-law.  My target is to finish it completely in time to take it with us when we go to visit at the end of July so I do need to start it!!!  Otherwise on the creative front it is mainly socks - taking an age to complete and a knitted bag which I have almost completed.  Some photos will appear shortly I hope.
Have a great Bank Holiday if you are in the UK!

"Believe in yourself  Believe in your capacity.  Believe in your goodness.
Seek adventure.  Climb high mountains.  Run wild rivers.  Live daily with this spirit.
Take care.  Follow your dreams, but watch your step.  Have fun, sing, dance, laugh
and spread joy wherever you journey".
